Roundup of latest top-flight action as the Premier League resumed following September’s international break.

Late goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland saw league leaders, Manchester City come from behind to win 3-1 at West Ham, after Jeremy Doku cancelled out James Ward-Prowse’s header.

Richarlison provided an injury-time goal then assist for Dejan Kulusevski as Tottenham fought back to beat ten-men Sheffield United 2-1 in North London, after Gustavo Hamer had put the Blades in front whilst Oli McBurnie saw a red card in the 104th minute for a second booking.

Second half goals from Cody Gakpo and Andrew Robertson  plus Hugo Bueno’s own-goal in injury-time saw third-placed Liverpool fight back to win 3-1 at Wolves, having fallen behind to Hwang Hee-chan’s seventh minute goal.

Leandro Trossard’s 69th minute winner saw Arsenal stay fourth with a 1-0 away win at third-bottom Everton.

Down in the relegation zone, Luton remain rock bottom after Fulham’s Carlos Vinicius punished Thomas Kaminski’s spilled save with a 65th minute winner at Craven Cottage.

Ten-men Burnley remain second bottom following a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest, as Zeki Amdouni’s opening goal was cancelled out by Callum Hudson Odoi’s curled 61st minute stunner, whilst Lyle Foster was sent off for violent conduct in injury time after he elbowed Ryan Yates.

Elsewhere, Danny Welbeck’s opening goal against his former team fired Brighton to a 3-1 win at Manchester United during which Tariq Lamptey provided second-half assists for Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro, despite Rasmus Hojlund’s consolatory goal for Utd on his home bow.

Late goals from Jhon Duran, Douglas Luiz and Leon Bailey saw Aston Villa complete a dramatic 3-1 comeback win at home to Crystal Palace, having fallen behind to Odsonne Edouard’s 47th minute goal for the Eagles.

Callum Wilson’s 64th minute penalty saw Newcastle scrape past Brentford in a scrappy contest at St James’ Park.

Finally, Bournemouth held Chelsea to a goalless draw at the Vitality Stadium.
