Manchester City have been handed a solid start to their title defence in the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League draw.
Man City will commence their title defence in Group G where they will take on RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys.
Eddie Howe’s Newcastle are making their first Champions League appearance in the Group Stage since 2002-03 season, although they have been placed in a difficult Group F alongside PSG, Borussia Dortmund plus AC Milan, of whom they signed Sandro Tonali from this summer.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are back in this competition for the first time since 2016-17 season and have landed in Group B, where Sevilla, PSV and Lens await the Gunners.
Man Utd will take on Bayern Munich in Group A where both teams will be favourites to progress to the Round of 16, providing that Copenhagen and Galatasaray don’t spring any surprises.
Elsewhere, Celtic have been put in a wide-open Group E alongside Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid and Lazio.
Group Stage action will kick off on Tuesday 19 September and conclude on Wednesday 13 December, with every team playing three games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each respectively across the following matchweeks:
