Brentford welcome top-four chasing Tottenham Hotspur to Brentford Community Stadium in a cross-London derby.
If Leicester and Newcastle lose elsewhere in mid-afternoon matches, victory would see Thomas Frank’s Bees climb to ninth in the table.
Tottenham meanwhile will stay fourth with a win even if they enter this match sat fifth – in the event that Arsenal defeat Manchester United in the lunchtime match.
Team News
Sergi Canos remains ruled out for Brentford with a hamstring injury which forced him to miss last weekend’s win at Watford, although he could return next weekend for the Bees’ trip to Manchester United.
Ethan Pinnock (hamstring), Frank Onyeka (ankle) and Mathias Jorgensen (quad) are also ruled out.
Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns to report after last weekend’s loss against Brighton as Japhet Tanganga, Matt Doherty (both knee) and Oliver Skipp (groin) remain absent.

Prediction
Having gone unbeaten in three matches since returning from last month’s international break with two victories coming against London based rivals, Brentford can come into this match with belief of a causing a surprise but they could be more patient with their shots than they were at Watford last weekend.
Tottenham meanwhile just lacked their attacking sharpness in their loss to Brighton despite defending well throughout, whilst showing little patience in creating attacking gaps to play teammates into but Hugo Lloris did well to limit their defeat to a single goal.
This is a cross-London derby though where pride is also at stake as well as three points and if Brentford can play with the same confidence and energy as seen in recent weeks, they certainly could cause issues but I fancy Tottenham to bounce back here if they rediscover their edge.
Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Tottenham
Result: Brentford 0-0 Tottenham
