Norwich City remain top of Sky Bet Championship after a huge weekend which has various implications throughout the table.

Bolton fills the relegation sandwich in between the Millers and Tractor Boys after a fiery encounter at Swansea. Craig Noone and David Wheater saw red for the Trotters before Oli McBurnie and Bersant Celina sealed a late victory for the Swans.

Elsewhere, Derby lost pace with the Robins after Aston Villa sealed a first half rout with Conor Hourihane double either side of a Tammy Abraham tuck in before Jack Grealish’s volley sealed a 4-0 win in first-half injury time.
Birmingham City blew their chance to leapfrog the Rams into seventh after a Jarrod Bowen brace secured Hull all three points, as the Tigers moved tenth and level on points with the Brummies.
Nottingham Forest however split the pair in ninth after losing 2-0 at Stoke after goals from Peter Etebo and Benfik Afobe.
Finally, Brentford emerged victorious in the West London derby with a 3-0 win over QPR. to leave them as one of eight teams just behind seventh-placed Derby with five points the gap between all nine teams.
