Prediction
Having suffered a frustrating defeat at Feyenoord last week in a mixed start to their first campaign in this competition, Como bounced back with a clinical 3-1 Serie A win at Fiorentina so confidence should be high in a team which has only drawn a blank twice this season.
Man Utd meanwhile should be worried coming into this game because of their awful away form this season even if they do have a habit of grinding out draws, as they can’t keep riding their luck on the counter-attack which seems their best way of extracting performance from Bryan Mbeumo.
Martinez’s absence also will be felt defensively against an attacking team like Como so the first goal is crucial because if Como score first, I can’t see Man Utd winning this although they should at least be capable of one goal.
