Rodin Motorsport have retained Brazilian racing driver, Pedro Clerot for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season.
Clerot’s renewal comes after he picked up victory in the first Spanish Feature Race plus four further podium finishes – which consisted of second in the Barcelona Sprint and third place in Monaco and Belgian Sprints plus Spanish Feature Race Two, en-route to sixth in the F3 standings.
The 19-year-old Brazilian is now pleased to have continuity of staying at Rodin for another F3 season and build on the learnings of his rookie season.
“I’m very happy to be staying with Rodin for my second year in FIA F3. We’ve built a really strong relationship this season and achieved some great results, improving race after race. I’ve felt at home with the team since day one, so continuing this journey together is very special.
“I believe we have what it takes to fight at the front next season, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”
Rodin’s Sporting Director, Benn Huntingford added that the team are “delighted” to retain Clerot who they felt showed development across the season.
“He’s really impressed the team this year, showing strong pace and making great progress throughout the season. To see him take his maiden win in Madrid was a fantastic way to end the year and a result that reflects the progress he’s made.
“We’re looking forward to building on that next season and seeing what we can achieve together.”
