Manchester City have completed the £65m signing of winger, Iliman Ndiaye from Everton.
Ndiaye had been the subject of transfer interest from Tottenham in a swap deal involving Richarlison, but the latter failed to agree personal terms on a return to Everton which allowed City to complete a swoop for Ndiaye with a £60m fixed fee plus £5m in add-ons offer.
Ndiaye has signed a five-year contract at City until June 2031, and is humble to have secured this move to a top club capable of silverware.

Ndiaye began his career with France’s Rouen Sapins in their youth academy before he switched to their local rivals, Rouen for two years, which was followed by spells with Marseille, Dakar Sacre-Coeur and Boreham Wood, before he moved to Sheffield United in 2019.
He however spent the second half of the 2019-20 season on loan at Non League’s Hyde United, where he made his professional debut and scored his first senior goal, before he returned to the Blades and made his Utd debut as a substitute in March 2021 in a 5-0 league loss against Leicester.
The following two seasons saw Ndiaye establish himself at Bramall Lane with 22 goals in 87 appearances, which led him to make a return to Marseille in 2023-24 season but he struggled to adapt with four goals in 46 appearances.
He consequently returned to England the following summer as he joined Everton and produced 17 goals in 74 appearances, during which he scored both goals in a 2-0 victory over Southampton in the Toffees’ last-ever match at Goodison Park in May 2025.
Ndiaye also netted Everton’s first competitive goal at their current home – Hill Dickinson Stadium just months later in August 2025, as the Toffees beat Brighton in a 2-0 win.
At international level, Ndiaye represents Senegal and has scored five goals in 44 caps since his senior debut in a 3-1 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier win over Benin in June 2022, and has since featured in Senegal’s last two FIFA World Cup squads.
