Liverpool have signed French forward, Bradley Barcola from PSG for £123m.
Following extensive negotiations with PSG across the summer, Liverpool have finally signed Barcola in a transfer totalling £123m which consisted of a £106m fixed fee plus £17m in add-ons.
The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Anfield until June 2031 and will wear the number 29 shirt this season, but is proud is finally complete the move as he spoke to Liverpoolfc.com about making the switch.
“It’s a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I’m very happy.
“It took a long time but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.
“I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life.
“It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that’s why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it.”
Barcola began his career at Lyon initially in their Academy and Reserve Squad before he made his professional debut in November 2021, and went on to score seven goals in 47 appearances.
A move to PSG followed in August 2023 and he went on achieve 13 titles with the marquee French club:

- 2 x UEFA Champions League
- 2 x UEFA Super Cup
- 2 x Coupe de France
- 1 x FIFA Intercontinental Cup
At international level, Barcola has scored six goals in 28 senior caps for France since his debut in a 3-0 friendly win over Luxembourg in June 2024, having been called up to France’s UEFA Euro 2024 squad which saw the Les Bleus lose to eventual winners – Spain and likewise at this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
