Alex Albon has signed a new one-year contract at Williams for the 2027 F1 season.
Albon’s new contract extension means that he will remain with Williams for a sixth season, having amassed 121 points in 103 races so far across his time at the team.
The 30-year-old Thai-British driver is excited to commit his future for one more season despite enduring a tough campaign as F1 adapts to the new regulations of this season.
“Since joining Atlassian Williams F1 Team in 2022, the transformation this team has made is difficult to put into words. One tough year doesn’t tell the full picture, and it only gives me more motivation to keep building and pushing together with the factory and our fans to achieve great things. Our story is not over yet, so my full focus now is on doing whatever it takes to get us back up the grid.”
