West Ham have signed winger, Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur in a £7m transfer.
Solomon’s move has ended a miserable three-year stint in North London in which he made just six appearances for Spurs, before he spent the last two seasons on loan at Leeds, Villarreal and Fiorentina.
West Ham consequently opted to sign the out-of-favour winger in a £7m deal which comprised of a £5m fixed fee and £2m in add-ons, after Crysencio Summerville left the club in July to join Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, following the Hammers’ relegation.
Solomon has signed a three-year contract with the Hammers until June 2029 with an option to extend for a further year, and is ready to get his time at the club underway.

“I know West Ham has a rich history both in the Premier League and in Europe. It’s a Club that won a European trophy just three years ago, and I think this is where the Club should be, and I’m here to help the Club to be where it belongs.
“I’ve spoken both with the manager and with Nils [Koppen]. They showed me the project, what they want to build there. Of course, our first task is to get promoted, to go back to the Premier League. I really like all the ideas and everything they have presented for me.
“I’ll try to give my all in the first season and then in the seasons ahead. I want to be here for a long time and I want to make the fans really happy.”
Solomon began his career with Hapoel Kfar Saba then Maccabi Petah Tikva at youth level, before he broke through into the latter’s first-team squad and delivered 10 goals in 83 appearances.
His performances saw Shakhtar Donetsk sign him in January 2019 and he went on to net 22 goals in 106 appearances before the 2021-22 Ukrainian Premier League season was suspended in February 2022 then ultimately cancelled due to the breakout of war between Ukraine and Russia.
During his time at Shakhtar, Solomon helped them to three Ukrainian Premier League titles plus one Ukrainian Cup and Ukrainian Super Cup title apiece.
He subsequently spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Fulham where he registered five goals in 24 appearances, which led to a move to Tottenham the following season but he only managed six appearances without scoring before a knee injury in October 2023 sidelined him for the rest of the 23-24 season.
He however had fallen out of favour under then-manager, Ange Postecoglou and was loaned out to Leeds for the 2024-25 season, which proved successful as he helped them gain promotion as Championship champions with 10 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances.
Last season saw Solomon initially loaned out to Villarreal but managed just three starts in 11 total appearances during which he produced one goal and four assists.
Spurs consequently recalled him in January and loaned him out to Fiorentina where he managed two goals and two assists apiece in 19 appearances.
