Tottenham Draw Charlton in Second Round of 2026-27 Carabao Cup

Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Charlton Athletic upon completion of the second round draw in the 2026-27 Carabao Cup. 

Roberto De Zerbi’s Spurs will face Nathan Jones’ Addicks at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in one of two London derbies to be drawn in the southern section.

Fulham meanwhile will host AFC Wimbledon at Craven Cottage in another derby tie in the UK capital, with that tie confirmed for Thursday 27 August due to Fulham’s Premier League opener taking place on Monday 24 August against Chelsea.

Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea meanwhile will too be in action at home that night after they were handed a tie against Luton at Stamford Bridge.

Across in the northern section, Nottingham Forest will host Leeds United in a clash between two English Football giants in an all Premier League tie.

Preston North End meanwhile will host Everton at Deepdale in another highlight tie in that section of the draw.

Ties will be played between 25-27 August of which the 23 winners will then be joined in the third round by the nine Premier League teams who had received a bye to that stage due to their European qualification.
