Swiss midfielder, Geraldine Reuteler has joined Arsenal on a free transfer.
Reuteler’s move to Arsenal comes after she left Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt following an eight-year spell in which she contributed 53 goals and 45 assists in 183 appearances across all competitions.
The 27 year-old is now ready for a new challenge in Women’s Super League with Arsenal and build on their storied history and will wear the number 14 shirt in the 2026-27 season.
“Arsenal is one of the best clubs in the world and I’m so proud that I can be here,” commented Reuteler on her move to North London. “I love the way this team plays and I can’t wait to test myself against the best players here in the WSL.
“I want to add to the history and success of this football club and I’m looking forward to walking out at the Emirates in front of all our supporters.”
Arsenal Women’s Head Coach, Renee Slegers added that she is “delighted” to sign a quality midfielder in Reuteler who can add technicality and physicality to the midfield selection.
“She’s a really technical, intelligent player and combines this with good athleticism, which we believe makes her a great addition to our midfield group. I’m looking forward to starting to work together when pre-season begins.”
Reuteler represents Switzerland at international level with 18 goals in 91 senior caps.
