Arsenal will begin their Premier League title defence against Coventry City in the 2026-27 season opener at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal will kick off their title defence at home to newly-promoted Coventry City, as Frank Lampard’s Sky Blues return to the top flight after a 25-year absence on Friday 21 August at 8pm BST live on Sky Sports.
Sky will also have coverage of two London derbies on the opening weekend, as Brentford host Tottenham on Saturday 22 August at 5:30pm, whilst Fulham conclude the opening weekend against Chelsea on Monday 24 August at 8pm.
The first Super Sunday of the season sees Brighton face Aston Villa in a 2pm kick-off at AMEX Stadium, alongside Manchester City’s simultaneous opener against Bournemouth on Sunday 23 August.
Andoni Iraola begins life as Liverpool manager with a trip to Newcastle in the opening Super Sunday teatime blockbuster at 4:30pm on 23 August.
TNT will commence their coverage of the new season at the MKM Stadium as Play-Off winners, Hull host Michael Carrick’s Manchester United.
Last season’s Championship runners-up, Ipswich will host Sunderland at Portman Road on Saturday 22 August at 3pm, untelevised live in the UK.
Crystal Palace begin life under new manager, Pierre Sage with a trip to Everton on 22 August at 3pm, whilst Nottingham Forest face Leeds at the City Ground at the same time on that date.
