West Ham meet fellow relegated rival, Wolves in a massive Sky Bet Championship clash.
Victory could move West Ham onto the cusp of the top ten if results elsewhere go in their favour, whilst Wolves can go top with a win.

Konstantinos Mavropanos is a doubt for West Ham after he missed their 1-1 draw at Watford due to a dead leg.

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 4-1 comeback victory at home to Stoke City.

When is Kick-Off?
West Ham host Wolves at London Stadium on Tuesday 1 September at 7:45pm BST, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Ham have won four of their last six league meetings against Wolves (W4, L2).
- Wolves are winless in their last six league trips to West Ham (L6).
- West Ham have kept five clean sheets in their last six home games against Wolves, during which they scored 16 goals and conceded just one goal.
- West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen has converted just two of his 12 shots onto target but is still yet to score a league goal this season.
- Wolves have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 12 league matches (W3, D5, L4).
Prediction
Having made a sluggish start to the season with two draws and one defeat in their three league games, West Ham really need to put together a strong performance because they have been passively slow so far and lacking the attacking flair they’re capable of.
Wolves meanwhile have been the contrast because they’ve been sharp and confident in their attacking flair which has paid dividends, especially in how they didn’t allow their early setback against Stoke to affect their focus because they stuck to their plan and were clinical.
Now if both teams turn up with their recent standards then I can see Wolves easily blowing the Hammers apart but the London Stadium has been quite a bogey ground for the Old Gold, so this might be the ideal opportunity for West Ham to turn the tide.
I however do think that Wolves will have too much quality but they should at least be given a tough test.
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Wolves
Result: West Ham 4-2 Wolves
