Bromley continue their promotion challenge against Bristol Rovers at the Copperjax Stadium.
Victory would see Bromley stay top of the table regardless of if second-placed MK Dons win at Swindon or not, whilst Bristol Rovers can climb to 18th if Cheltenham lose at Shrewsbury.
Team News
Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 1-1 draw at Grimsby last weekend.
Kyle Cameron (ankle) and Michael Cheek (hamstring) aren’t expected to be available for selection.
Bristol Rovers too have no fresh injury concerns after their 2-0 midweek win at Barrow.
Josh McEachran (hamstring), Promise Omochere (knee/hamstring) and Macauley Southam-Hales (unspecified) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Bromley host Bristol Rovers at Copperjax Stadium on Saturday 14 March at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Bromley won 3-2 in their only previous EFL meeting against Bristol Rovers, which came away at the Memorial Ground on Boxing Day 2025.
- Bristol Rovers are making their first EFL visit to Bromley, but have won each of their two previous visits – albeit in the FA Cup (W2).
- Bromley have dropped eight points in their last five home matches (W1, D4).
- Bristol Rovers have won just one of their last six away matches (W1, D1, L4).
Prediction
Now unbeaten in 18 matches and still top of the table despite one win in their last six matches, Bromley have certainly taken to grinding out draws but with the closing pack now hot on their heels this feels like a must win if want to keep the title let alone automatic promotion in their control.
Andy Woodman’s Ravens though will ideally need to start better than they did at Grimsby because they looked nervy and slow out of the blocks, yet Grant Smith proved their saviour at times with his saves in a pretty see-saw game once settled but they need to be more clinical but tight defensively.
Bristol Rovers meanwhile are unbeaten in four matches and have moved away from the drop especially after their clinical win at Barrow, but they will have extra motivation after they chucked away a two-goal lead in the reverse fixture at home on Boxing Day.
I however do expect the Pirates to do some rotating given their lengthy midweek jaunt to Barrow whereas Bromley have had the week to just focus on preparation, but the visitors are yet to lose at the Copperjax Stadium so I expect Bromley’s unbeaten home record in the league to be seriously tested.
A draw on that note feels like a fair call but I fancy Bromley to nick this especially after they suffered a controversial FA Cup loss at home to Bristol Rovers earlier this season.
Prediction: Bromley 2-1 Bristol Rovers
