2025-26 League Two: Week 35 – Bromley vs Accrington Stanley

Bromley continue their promotion push against Accrington Stanley in a Sky Bet League Two encounter.

Victory would see Bromley stay top of the table, although a draw or defeat would be enough if Cambridge slip up against MK Dons at lunchtime.

Accrington Stanley meanwhile will stay 13th with a win or if Fleetwood fail to win elsewhere.

Team News

Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report after their goalless draw at Harrogate last weekend.

Kyle Cameron is still sidelined with an ankle injury, which manager – Andy Woodman confirmed in his pre-match preview for this game.

Accrington Stanley will welcome Donald Love and Devon Matthews back into contention following completion of their respective two and one-match bans.

Liam Coyle, Alex Henderson, Isaac Sinclair (all unspecified), Conor Grant (calf), Kelsey Mooney (knee) and Tyler Walton (ankle) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Bromley host Accrington Stanley at Copperjax Stadium on Saturday 28 February at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Bromley have won all three of their previous EFL meetings against Accrington Stanley (W3).
  • Accrington Stanley lost 4-0 in their only previous EFL visit to Bromley in April 2025.
  • Michael Cheek has scored three goals across two of Bromley’s three previous EFL meetings against Accrington Stanley, having only failed to find the net in a 1-0 away win in December 2025.
  • Bromley are looking to avoid suffering four consecutive draws for the first time since October – November 2024.
  • Accrington Stanley have lost one of their five away league games in 2026 (W3, D1, L1).

Prediction

Having stuttered to draws in their last three matches, Bromley are now under a bit of pressure from their promotion rivals but first need to produce a serious response to their lacklustre goalless draw at Harrogate, where they failed to even register a shot on target amidst some resilient defensive work.

Accrington meanwhile have avoided defeat in one of their last four matches across which they took one win and three losses – in contrast to one defeat in the previous eight games beforehand, and were absolutely outclassed by Barnet in midweek.

Bromley meanwhile weren’t in action in midweek so have had a week to reflect and work on their end product and given that they’re unbeaten at home this season, this does feel like the ideal game for them to deliver a ruthless response if turn up with the right attitude.

Prediction: Bromley 2-0 Accrington Stanley

Result: Bromley 2-1 Accrington Stanley
