2025-26 League Two: Week 34 – Harrogate vs Bromley

Relegation-battling Harrogate Town meet leaders, Bromley in a blockbuster Sky Bet League Two showdown.

Victory could lift Harrogate out of the relegation zone if results elsewhere go in their favour, whilst Bromley will stay top if they avoid defeat.

Team News

Harrogate have no fresh injury concerns after their midweek victory at Barrow but Bryn Morris (neck) and Chanse Headman (foot) face late fitness checks.

Lewis Cass (groin), Liam Gibson (hamstring) and Stephen Duke-McKenna (foot) remain absent.

Bromley could welcome Corey Whitely (calf) and Kyle Cameron (unspecified) back into contention after manager, Andy Woodman revealed that he has a fully fit squad in his match preview without any in-depth mentions of Whitely and Cameron.

When is Kick-Off?

Harrogate host Bromley at Wetherby Road on Saturday 21 February at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Harrogate have lost all three EFL meetings against Bromley by 2-0 results (L3).
  • Bromley won 2-0 in their only previous EFL visit to Harrogate on the opening weekend of 2024-25 season.
  • Michael Cheek has scored in two of Bromley’s three EFL matches against Harrogate.
  • Harrogate are looking to go four league matches without defeat for the first time since the opening four matchweeks of this season in August 2025.
  • Bromley have dropped two points in their four away games in 2026 (W3, D1).

Prediction

Despite their upturn in form in their last three matches, Harrogate were outplayed in their clinical win at Barrow but they realistically need to start well and try to score first, otherwise this could well be a tough ask if Bromley get ahead given their strong EFL form against the hosts.

Bromley though must play much better than they did against Cheltenham because they looked second-best once they dropped their early high intensity, although the last 30 minutes felt very see-saw momentum wise and they’re still grinding out points when not winning.

We also shouldn’t forget that Harrogate was the scene of Bromley’s EFL debut and maiden fourth-tier win so Woodman’s men have come a proudly long way in 18 months, which will motivate them to try and deliver a win to cement their progress.

Defending though is the Achilles heel of both teams and with Harrogate finding some form now, I expect this to be a close game but Bromley should have enough quality for the win.

Prediction: Harrogate 1-2 Bromley

Result: Harrogate 0-0 Bromley
