Sky Sports have acquired UK broadcasting rights to UEFA Europa and Conference Leagues from 2027 to 2031.
This announcement will see TNT’s control of the UK broadcasting rights for the Europa League since summer 2015 come to an end after the 2026-27 season – having won the rights from ITV and Sky a decade ago, whilst they have shown the Conference League since its inception in 2021-22 season.
Sky Sports will show all 342 matches across each competition per season from 2027-28 to 2030-31 seasons, with their Chief Sports Officer, Jonathan Licht explaining that this acquisition marks a “proud” consolidation of their footballing portfolio which includes Premier League, EFL and Women’s Super League.
“I’m proud that we’re able to bring European football competitions back to Sky customers. The UEFA Europa League and Conference League have delivered some of the most exciting European stories in recent years, with English clubs consistently performing strongly and lifting trophies.
“This partnership is made possible by the strength of our business model and brand as the home of sport in the UK.
“Alongside the Premier League, EFL, SPFL, WSL and more, fans will now regularly enjoy domestic or European football every day of the week during the season on Sky Sports.”
