Nottingham Forest face Leeds United in a huge clash at the foot of the Premier League table.
Victory would move 19th-placed Forest to within one point of safety whilst Leeds can climb to 14th with a win.
Team News
Igor Jesus is available for Forest after he was suspended for their goalless draw at Sturm Graz in the Europa League last Thursday.
Callum Hudson-Odoi (leg) and Chris Wood (knee) are doubts but Angus Gunn (knee), Ola Aina, Douglas Luiz (both hamstring), Dilane Bakwa (unspecified) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin) are still ruled out.
Leeds could be without Sebastiaan Bornauw due to a knee injury suffered in training.
Wilfried Gnonto (calf/hernia), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (adductor) and Jayden Bogle (illness) face late fitness checks.
When is Kick-Off?
Forest host Leeds at City Ground on Sunday 9 November at 2pm GMT, live on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Forest have won just one of their last six Premier League meetings against Leeds (W1, D2, L3).
- Leeds are yet to claim a Premier League victory away at Forest (D3, L3).
- Forest manager, Sean Dyche has lost just one of three previous Premier League meetings against Leeds (W1, D1, L1), which came in spells at Burnley and Everton respectively.
- Four of Forest’s six points in the Premier League this season were scored at home.
- Leeds have conceded five goals in their last two away matches without scoring (L2).
Prediction
Having claimed two gutsy draws in their last two matches, Forest now need to start finding wins if want to keep pace with their relegation rivals and that includes putting in a more polished display than they served up at Sturm Graz on Thursday.
Leeds meanwhile just didn’t really get going at Brighton until 3-0 down so a huge improvement is needed if they want to stand any chance of the win, although they will be thankful that Forest’s defensive record this season is as bad as theirs so this could either be a close cagey fight or all out defensively sloppy entertainment.
I however do think that it will end up be middling with a point apiece.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Leeds
Result: Nottingham Forest 3-1 Leeds
