Bradford’s joint caretaker manager, Mark Trueman believes that the Bantams’ trip to Reading “has all the makings of a good game.”
Trueman currently shares managerial duties with Colin Doyle following Graham Alexander’s departure to join Preston, with the pair in charge of Bradford’s League One trip to Reading as they look to stay top of the table.
In his pre-match preview on www.bradfordcityafc.com, Trueman iterated that the Bantams’ focus is now on the trip to the Royals tomorrow (3 October) at 3pm BST, with live coverage in the UK available on Sky Sports+ for those not attending the game at Select Car Leasing Stadium.
“It is time to look forward to Reading.
“They are a good team and have scored a lot of goals. We have not conceded many, so it has all the makings of a good game.”
Trueman also spoke of the opportunity to share managerial duties with Doyle as he spoke of the respect that the squad holds for their former goalkeeper, and believes that they both will benefit each other as he praised Alexander and Chris Lucketti for their work.
“Colin is respected by the squad. He has plenty of experience and offers different ideas and is a very good guy.
“He will help me as much as I will help him”
“The job Graham and Chris have done has been brilliant, and we respect their decision. Now, though, it is time for us to look forward to Reading.”
