Leicester and Middlesbrough both look to bounce back from defeats in a huge Sky Bet Championship clash at King Power Stadium.
Victory could lift Leicester as high as tenth depending on results elsewhere, whilst Middlesbrough can return to second position with a win if Millwall fail to beat Birmingham City.
Team News
Jeremy Monga could return for Leicester after he missed their 2-0 defeat to Blackburn due to illness.
Jordan James (back) is a doubt but Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Harry Souttar (Achilles) remain absent.
Middlesbrough could welcome Alex Bangura back after he missed their 3-0 loss at Watford due to illness.
George Edmundson (hamstring), Abdoulaye Kante (hernia/groin), Seny Dieng and Darragh Lenihan (both Achilles) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Leicester host Middlesbrough at King Power Stadium on Tuesday 4 November at 7:45pm GMT, live on Sky Sports + in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Leicester are winless in their last four meetings against Middlesbrough (D2, L2).
- Middlesbrough have won just one of their last eight league visits to Leicester (W1, D4, L3).
- Leicester haven’t lost three consecutive meetings against Middlesbrough since April 2001 – March 2002.
- Leicester last lost four consecutive Championship matches between March – April 2010.
- Boro have lost two of their last three away matches (W1, L2).
Prediction
Now winless in four matches after a wasteful display against Blackburn, Leicester now need to produce a more composed display if want to keep pace with their rivals around the play-off spots.
Middlesbrough meanwhile were just outclassed in terms of end product at Watford where they don’t have the strongest record and that is the same here, which is a concern but they did at least attempt more shots so it is a case of tightening up and finding their composed final touches.
With that in mind, I do expect this to be a cagey battle but Boro should just edge this if can produce the ideal reaction as Leicester just seem to lack confidence at present.
Prediction: Leicester 0-1 Middlesbrough
Result: Leicester 1-1 Middlesbrough
