Tottenham Hotspur host Copenhagen in the league phase of 2025-26 UEFA Champions League.
Victory could lift Tottenham into the top eight, whereas Copenhagen can climb into the knockout play-off spots with a win.
Team News
Lucas Bergvall will miss out for Tottenham after he suffered a concussion during their 1-0 Premier League loss to Chelsea.
Archie Gray (calf), Ben Davies (muscle), Yves Bissouma, Dominic Solanke (both ankle), Radu Dragusin, James Maddison (both ACL), Dejan Kulusevski (knee) and Kota Taki (foot) are still ruled out.
Copenhagen could be without Marcos Lopez after he suffered an unspecified injury in their 1-1 domestic draw against Midtjylland.
Gabriel Pereira missed that game through illness and is a doubt for selection.
When is Kick-Off?
Tottenham host Copenhagen at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday 4 November at 8pm GMT, live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- This is Tottenham’s first Champions League meeting against Copenhagen.
- Copenhagen are making their first competitive visit to Tottenham in all UEFA competitions.
- Spurs have kept two clean sheets in three games in the league phase (W1, D2).
- Copenhagen have conceded eight goals in their three league phase fixtures (D1, L2).
Prediction
Coming into this game off the back of two defeats in two separate competitions, Tottenham really need to find their clinical spark after having scored three goals in just one of their last four matches, and their attack was just lacklustre and outclassed against Chelsea.
Thomas Frank though will be glad that his team’s defensive quality kept the defeat to a single goal but they really need to view this match as winnable to restore their attacking confidence.
Copenhagen meanwhile aren’t a side to underestimate attacking wise but their defence is worse with double the number goals of conceded (8) compared to goals scored (4) in this league phase, so they will be sniffing a surprise with Spurs’ confidence currently low.
This game consequently feels like it could be tight and a dour battle or a crazy loose cannon clash if both defences are as bad as each other, so I am going for a middling draw.
Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Copenhagen
Result: Tottenham 4-0 Copenhagen
