Newcastle could welcome Lewis Hall back from a hamstring injury if he passes late fitness checks.

Prediction
Having produced a lacklustre performance in their defeat at Leeds despite late second-half improvements, West Ham simply have to take those late positives and apply themselves from the off because they otherwise could be in for another rough ride.
Newcastle meanwhile were absolutely clinical in how they saw off Tottenham in the Carabao Cup but that was at home where they seem more solid than on the road, so this is a chance to build on their recent form and bring that quality on their away travels.
The opening phases therefore will be crucial but if Newcastle can continue to keep building confidence and again be clinical in their chances, I can see them taking a comfortable win.
