McLaren junior, Ugo Ugochukwu has joined Campos for 2026 F3 season.
Ugochukwu graduated to F3 this season with PREMA but managed a lowly 16th-placed championship finish with two second-placed finishes in Belgian and Hungarian Sprints.
The 18-year-old American however will return to F3 for a second season in 2026, but has secured a switch to the teams’ champions, Campos where he will partner Theophile Nael and rookie, Ernesto Rivera in an all-new driver line-up.
“I am very excited to join Campos Racing for the 2026 FIA Formula 3 season. It will be my second year in the category, so I will bring more experience. The team is coming off a team title last season, so I know I’ll be in a very solid environment. I am convinced that together we can achieve great results this coming season.”
Campos’ Team Principal, Adrian Campos added: “We are delighted to be able to count on Ugo for next year and that it means we have been able to build a very solid block together with Théophile and Ernesto.
“Ugo is going to bring us a good dose of experience, despite his youth, and he is preceded by a track record and a career that few drivers have in karting and single-seaters and that endorse him for the years to come. We are looking forward to starting this journey together and seeing all that we can achieve.”
