Bodo/Glimt face a tricky League Phase test of their credentials against Tottenham in 2025-26 UEFA Champions League.
Victory would lift Bodo/Glimt above Tottenham and potentially into the top half of the table, whilst Tottenham can move into the top half of the table with a win.
Team News
Bodo/Glimt could be without Brede Moe and Bassi due to groin injuries.
Ulrik Saltnes is set to miss out through illness.
Tottenham could have Ben Davies (knee) and Kota Taki (foot) available for selection, subject to fitness checks.
Randal Kolo Muani (leg), Yves Bissouma (unspecified), Radu Dragusin, James Maddison (both ACL), Dejan Kulusevski (knee) and Dominic Solanke (ankle) are ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Bodo/Glimt host Tottenham at Aspmyra Stadium on Tuesday 30 September at 9pm CEST (8pm BST), live on TNT Sports 2 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- This is Bodo/Glimt’s first Champions League meeting against Tottenham.
- Spurs won 2-0 in their only previous visit to Bodo/Glimt in May 2025, en-route to the Europa League title last season.
- Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke has scored in both appearances against Bodo/Glimt.
- Bodo/Glimt’s eight goals since they entered the competition in the play-off round have been scored by eight separate goalscorers.
- Solanke scored in each of Tottenham’s last two away matches in UEFA competitions, but is ruled out through injury.
Prediction
Having battled hard to a 2-2 draw in their first game of the league phase away to Slavia Prague, Bodo/Glimt certainly won’t be an easy team to beat if they bring that same spirit plus the learnings from last season’s Europa League semi-final defeats to Spurs.
Tottenham though will be eager to atone for a pretty tame comeback draw against Wolves where their play lacked variety in creativity, but I do expect Thomas Frank to make some tactical tweaks to try and unlock more intensity within the team on the pitch.
Many of Spurs’ players though will already be used to Bodo/Glimt’s artificial pitch from their visit in spring and given the way they’re playing at minute, I expect them to get the job done but Bodo/Glimt will certainly give them another good scrap.
Prediction: Bodo/Glimt 1-2 Tottenham
Result: Bodo/Glimt 2-2 Tottenham
