National League South’s Chelmsford City have signed 20-year-old goalkeeper, Dillon Addai on an one-month loan from Bromley.
Addai’s loan switch comes nearly two months after he made an official move to Bromley and became part of their Under-21s squad. which saw him start in their 2-1 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League Cup last Monday (8 September).
Club officials have now decided to send Addai on loan to Chelmsford to gain senior experience with the 20-year-old “excited” to make the month-long move.
“I’m really excited to be here, I can’t wait to get started.
“I’m looking forward to enjoying my football and having a good experience with the club and it will be great to work with Chris, he’s a brilliant goalkeeper who I’m sure will teach me plenty of things.
“I’m looking forward to working with Justin, Angelo and the club in general.”
Chelmsford manager, Angelo Harrop added: “I’m very happy to bring Dillon in on loan, he has a fantastic presence in goal.
“He is physically outstanding and I was very impressed with his performance when we played against him in pre-season.
“He comes in and will be fantastic competition for Chris Haigh, who will also be able to teach Dillon a lot and help him grow as a keeper.”
