Arsenal Face Tough League Phase in Champions League

Arsenal will face tough league phase fixtures in the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League following the league phase draw. 

Last season’s semi-finalists, Arsenal face some tricky home games as they face Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Olympiacos and Kairat Almaty in North London, whilst they will face trips to Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Slavia Prague and Athletic Bilbao.

Reigning Europa League champions, Tottenham will face a rematch against Bodo/Glimt away – having beaten them in the semi-finals en-route to the title last season, whilst they will too face a rematch away to reigning champions – PSG after the pair met in the UEFA Super Cup to open the new season.

Thomas Frank’s Spurs will also head to Eintracht Frankfurt and Monaco amidst home clashes against; Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal, Slavia Prague and Copenhagen.

Arne Slot’s Liverpool will face Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, PSV and Qarabag at home, whilst they will visit Inter Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, Marseille and Galatasaray in a tough set of away matches across the league phase.

Manchester City will play host two German opposition in Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt plus Italy’s Napoli and Turkey’s Galatasaray, whilst they will visit Spain twice to face Real Madrid and Villarreal alongside trips to Bodo/Glimt and Monaco.

Chelsea face tough opposition on the road as they visit Bayern Munich, Atalanta, Napoli and Qarabag, whilst they will host Barcelona, Benfica, Ajax and Pafos at home.

Newcastle face a tough set of league fixtures after they were drawn away to PSG, Bayer Leverkusen, Marseille and Union Saint-Gilloise, whilst they will entertain Barcelona, Benfica, PSV and Athletic Bilbao at St James’ Park.

The league phase commences in midweek of 15-17 September 2025 and will conclude on Wednesday 28 January 2026 with the top eight advancing through to round of 16 whilst those placed ninth to 24th will enter the knockout play-offs.
