Rock-bottom Cheltenham host Bromley in a stand-out fixture of the first midweek of 2025-26 League Two season.
Victory will lift Cheltenham off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone, whilst Bromley can climb into the top ten with a win.
Team News
Cheltenham have no fresh injury concerns following their 5-0 loss at MK Dons, with left-back Taine Anderson still ruled out with a hamstring injury.
Bromley too have no fresh injury concerns following a controversial 2-2 draw against Fleetwood, as Carl Jenkinson remains sidelined with a hip injury.
When is Kick-Off?
Cheltenham host Bromley at Whaddon Road on Tuesday 19 August at 7:45pm BST, live on Sky Sports + in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Cheltenham are yet to beat Bromley in the EFL (D1, L1), having drawn 1-1 at home in November 2024 then lost 3-0 away in May 2025.
- Bromley drew 1-1 in their only previous EFL visit to Cheltenham, in which Omar Sowunmi rescued a point with his late equaliser after Ethon Archer put the hosts ahead following Jenkinson’s red card.
- Cheltenham have conceded eight goals in three league games so far this season without reply (L3).
- Bromley’s Nicke Kabamba is looking to score in three consecutive matches for the first time since a five-match streak for Barnet between September – October 2024.
Prediction
Sat rock bottom of the league with no goals except in the Carabao Cup, Cheltenham really need a huge reaction to their disastrous trip to MK Dons but their defence does seem to be lacking much confidence whilst the attacking form isn’t exactly much better,
Bromley on the other hand will be motivated to right the wrongs of their draw against Fleetwood in which they showed grit and belief to come from behind to lead, particularly amidst dodgy refereeing that could rival VAR for pure idiocy in decision-making over a clear and obvious foul.
The Ravens’ defending of both conceded goals though were pretty poor, especially for the injury-time equaliser which again exposed their late-game psychological defensive switch-offs, which has to be a worry but I can’t see them losing this if they can take advantage of a fragile home defence clinically.
Prediction: Cheltenham 0-2 Bromley
Result: Cheltenham 1-2 Bromley
