Prediction
Having endured a sloppy start to life back in League One, Port Vale need to show more urgency from the get-go than saw at Rotherham because this is a tricky first home game of the season for the Valiants who need to ideally score first given their recent head-to-head form against Cardiff.
Cardiff on the other hand looked confident and energetic under Brian Barry-Murphy in their comeback win over Peterborough, but their final touches still need polishing to match their high-standard play which is something that will come with patience and time if keep building momentum.
I however do feel like this could be an one-sided game if Cardiff start like they finished the Peterborough game but at home, Port Vale won’t make this easy.
