Guide to the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix as F1 heads to the Red Bull Ring for one of the season’s toughest European races.

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri leads teammate, Lando Norris by 22 points after the pair collided in Canada, which will put fresh scrutiny on how McLaren handle any future scenario akin to that situation in terms of the team game vs letting the pair race without team instructions.

This race also marks Red Bull’s home race as they seek another win on their own turf, with Max Verstappen looking to reignite his title challenge on a circuit where he has taken four Grand Prix wins before.

Now, here is a guide to everything that you need to know ahead of the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix.

Verstappen dominated the race in 2024 from Norris who kept the Dutchman under immense pressure until he attempted an overtake for the lead at turn 3 on Lap 64, only for Verstappen to slam his car into his then title rival to hand victory to Mercedes’ George Russell for the Brit’s first Austrian win.

Verstappen earlier that weekend had won the sprint race in comfortable fashion from Piastri.
