The Tyne-Wear derby is also back in the top-flight after a near-ten-year absence with the first battle between Newcastle and Sunderland taking place at Stadium of Light on weekend of 13 December, before the return fixture at St James’ Park is played on weekend of 21 March.

After a disappointing campaign for both Man City and Man Utd, the first Manchester derby of the new campaign will be played at Etihad Stadium on weekend of 13 September, followed by the return leg on weekend of 17 January.

Arsenal’s first North London derby of the season against Tottenham will take place on weekend of 22 November, following the top-flight return from that month’s international break, before Spurs host the return fixture on weekend of 21 February.

Brentford face a lively September with two West London derbies as they host Chelsea on weekend of 13 September at the Gtech Community Stadium, before visiting Fulham at Craven Cottage a week later on weekend of 20 September.
