Bromley have issued an update on Marcus Dinanga’s recovery from an Achilles injury.

Dinanga missed much of Bromley’s 2024-25 season after he suffered an Achilles tendon injury in their 1-1 draw at home to MK Dons in September 2024, with very little updates provided on his recovery across the remainder of the campaign.

The club have now confirmed that the 27-year-old is nearing a return to full fitness with a statement from their Head of Medical, Erol Umut, in which he praised Dinanga for his commitment to his recovery.

“We have been incredibly impressed by Marcus’ attitude, commitment, and discipline throughout his recovery from Achilles tendon surgery.

“From the very beginning, he approached his rehabilitation with remarkable determination and an unwavering focus on returning stronger.

“An injury like this is both physically and mentally challenging, but Marcus has shown great resilience every step of the way.

“His dedication to the process – from early-stage rehab to more intensive strength and mobility work – has been nothing short of exemplary. He’s worked closely with our medical and performance teams, always asking the right questions, staying engaged, and pushing himself within safe boundaries.

“He has continued to work during the off season so that he is ready to rejoin the team for pre-season.

“Marcus’ professionalism is a credit to him and an inspiration to others facing similar setbacks.”

On their return from Portugal, Bromley will play host to Chelsea, Crystal Palace then Millwall on 19, 22 and 26 July in their last three pre-season friendlies, ahead of their second League Two campaign which is scheduled to commence on weekend of 1-3 August.
