Brentford have announced that Joma Sport S.A. will become their new kit partner in a multi-year deal.

Umbro has been the manufacturer of Brentford’s kit since the start of 2019-20 season but have now decided to part company with the Bees at the end of this season upon expiration of their contract.

Brentford have proceeded to appoint Joma as their new kit partner from next season onwards in a multi-year deal covering every team at Brentford from the Men and Women’s first-teams to the B-Teams plus academies and Community Trust.

Announcing the new deal, Brentford confirmed that next season’s kits will include a home shirt commemorating the centenary of the club’s first shirt donning red and white stripes, with the deal “rooted in shared values”, from local community to innovation and elite performance with focus on sustainability.

Every new kit next season will be designed with recycled polyester and other ecological fabrics in an attempt to reduce the impact upon the environment.

Brentford’s Commercial Director, Fran Jones explained that there was a “clear alignment” between the Bees and Joma in their future vision, which will reflect the club’s history and future.

“Their bespoke approach to design was also a key part of their proposal, enabling us to have kits, training wear and leisure wear that reflect who we are as a club, our rich history and heritage and our exciting future.

Joma Managing Director, Marina Lopez added that the sportswear business is “delighted” to become the kit manufacturer for Brentford, which she believes “… represents a fundamental step for Joma Sport in the English football scene, and we are honoured to be the club’s official kit partner.”
