Bromley striker, Michael Cheek was crowned League Two’s Player of the Season at the 2025 EFL Awards.
Cheek was crowned League Two’s Player of the Season after a successful first campaign in the EFL with newcomer, Bromley, at 33 years-old in which he managed 24 goals in total – of which 23 goals were scored in the fourth tier and is on course to claim the Golden Boot.
Upon receiving his award, Cheek admitted that he felt “honoured” and “delighted to win the award,” but was delighted to finally play in the EFL at 33 years-old with Bromley who stuck with him after their promotion via last season’s National League Promotion Play-Offs.
Cheek was also named in the League Two Team of the Season to cap an incredible evening for the striker who is enjoying his highest-scoring season as a senior player.
