BBC and ITV Announce Fourth Round Broadcast Picks in 2024-25 FA Cup

BBC and ITV have announced their fourth round broadcast selection in 2024-25 FA Cup. 

With first pick, ITV selected Plymouth’s home tie against Arne Slot’s Liverpool which will be played at Home Park on Sunday 9 February, with kick-off confirmed for 3pm GMT, live on ITV1.

ITV will kick off coverage of the next round from Old Trafford on Friday 7 February as Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s Leicester face Manchester United in an 8pm kick-off on ITV1, with Van Nistelrooy having recently been in interim charge of Utd earlier this season – during which the Red Devils beat the Foxes twice under his watch.

ITV will also have live coverage of the concluding tie of the round on ITV1 on Tuesday 11 February as Exeter look to spring a cupset against Nottingham Forest at St James’ Park in a 8pm kick-off.

Brighton’s tie against Chelsea will be broadcast on ITV4 on Saturday 8 February at 8pm.

BBC kick off their selection in this round with Leyton Orient’s glamourous home tie against Manchester City on Saturday 8 February, with kick-off confirmed for 12:15pm on BBC One after Orient had upset Derby in the Third Round to secure their first appearance at this stage since 2010-11 season.

Birmingham’s home tie against Newcastle will also be live on BBC1 on that same date with kick-off confirmed for 5:45pm, whilst BBC will also provide linear broadcast of Aston Villa’s encounter against Tottenham on Sunday 9 February in a 5:35pm kick-off.

BBC will also have two iPlayer exclusive matches as Wolves visit Blackburn on 9 February at 12:30pm, before League Two’s Doncaster Rovers entertain Crystal Palace on Monday 10 February at 7:45pm.
