Marco Silva’s in-form Fulham face relegation-battling Ipswich at Craven Cottage.
Victory will see Fulham reclaim eighth in the table, whilst Ipswich can climb to 16th with a win.
Team News
Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 2-2 draw against Bournemouth last weekend.
Sander Berge (ankle), Kenny Tete (shin), Reiss Nelson (hamstring) and Harrison Reed (knee) remain absent.
Ipswich will be without Conor Chaplin due to a minor knee injury.
Massimo Luongo (illness) could return.
Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring), George Hirst (knee) and Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Fulham host Ipswich at Craven Cottage on Sunday 5 January at 2pm GMT, live on Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Fulham are winless against Ipswich in the Premier League following three previous clashes (D2, L1).
- Ipswich drew 1-1 in their only previous Premier League visit to Fulham in October 2001.
- Two of Fulham’s three previous Premier League meetings against Ipswich ended in 1-1 draws.
- Raul Jimenez has scored in two of Fulham’s last three home matches (D3).
- Ipswich have won one of their four previous league trips to London-based clubs (W1, L3), during which Liam Delap netted in three of those visits.
Prediction
Having found themselves frustrated by Bournemouth despite leading twice, Fulham must learn how to control games more defensively when in front but not lose their attacking edge of recent weeks.
Ipswich though are riding high off the back of a clinical home win over Chelsea but they now must start building a winning run if want to push for survival, otherwise I can see them struggling to stay up come the run-in.
All three Premier League meetings between Fulham and Ipswich though have been tight and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more of the same here.
Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Ipswich
Result: Fulham 2-2 Ipswich
