Aston Villa have been handed a tough set of league phase fixtures in the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League.
Unai Emery’s Villa will face PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Fenerbahce and Viking at home, with their clash against PSG being their second meeting this season after the reigning champions beat them in the UEFA Super Cup earlier this month.
Villa will visit Barcelona, Club Brugge, Galatasaray and Slavia Prague in their four away fixtures.
Arsenal finished runners-up last season but have been handed a tricky set of home fixtures as they face Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Azerbaijan’s Sabah at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners will be away at Bayern Munich, Real Betis, Napoli and Slavia Prague.
Liverpool snatched the last Champions League spot on the final day of the 2025-26 Premier League season and have been given a favourable draw, with Atletico Madrid, Porto, Villarreal and Lens visiting them at Anfield.
Andoni Iraola’s Reds will also travel to Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Fenerbahce and LASK in the league phase.
Manchester City have been handed three tough home fixtures against PSG, Sporting Lisbon and Napoli, and will too host AEK Athens.
Manchester United will entertain Bayern Munich, AS Roma, RB Leipzig and Sabah at Old Trafford, and visit Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, Villarreal and Como in their four away fixtures.
The league phase will commence on Tuesday 8 September and run until 27 January 2027, with the top eight receiving a bye to the Round of 16 whilst those ranked ninth to 24th advance to the Knockout Play-Offs Round.
