Fulham meet Bournemouth at Craven Cottage in the race for European qualification.
Victory could see Fulham climb to fifth if Manchester City fail to beat Leicester, whilst Bournemouth can too move up to fifth with a win – having started the day just one point ahead of Fulham and Man City.
Team News
Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their shock Boxing Day win at Chelsea.
Emile Smith Rowe (leg) could return but Sander Berge (ankle), Kenny Tete (shin), Reiss Nelson (hamstring) and Harrison Reed (knee) remain absent.
Bournemouth will be without Justin Kluivert who is suspended for this match, having picked up his fifth booking in a goalless draw against Crystal Palace.
Julian Araujo, Luis Sinisterra (both hamstring), Adam Smith, Marcus Tavernier, Marcos Senesi (all muscle) and Alex Scott (knee) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Fulham host Bournemouth at Craven Cottage on Sunday 29 December at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Fulham have claimed seven points in six Premier League meetings against Bournemouth (W2, D1, L3).
- Bournemouth have claimed four points in three Premier League visits to Fulham (W1, D1, L1).
- Ex Bournemouth striker, Dominic Solanke scored in three of the Cherries’ last four meetings against Fulham.
- Raul Jimenez has been booked in the 79th minute in each of Fulham’s last two home matches.
- Justin Kluivert has scored five goals in three of Bournemouth’s last four away games.
Prediction
Given their record at Chelsea and poor marking of Cole Palmer’s opening goal, Fulham deserve credit for how they dug in defensively but patiently grafted in attack to snatch a clinical comeback win.
Bournemouth on the other hand lacked composure in their end product in a gritty but entertaining draw against Palace, and I do feel that they will bring the same intensity and fast pace into this game.
In fact, I can see this being another high-energy end-to-end contest and a draw might be a fair result.
Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Bournemouth
Result: Fulham 2-2 Bournemouth
