Newcastle United were drawn at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in the stand-out tie of the fifth-round draw in 2024-25 FA Cup.

Already through to the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday 16 March, Eddie Howe’s Magpies face a tough all Premier League tie after they were drawn at home to Brighton, after the pair came from behind to beat Birmingham and Chelsea respectively in the fourth round.

Current holders, Manchester United’s reward for a controversial comeback victory at home to Leicester is a difficult home tie against a strong Fulham team at Old Trafford.

Plymouth snatched a stunning victory over Premier League leaders, Liverpool through Ryan Hardie’s penalty but now face a tough trip to last season’s runners-up, Manchester City.

Crystal Palace’s reward for beating Doncaster Rovers is a South-London derby against Millwall at Selhurst Park.

Aston Villa will entertain Championship’s Cardiff City at Villa Park after the Villains saw off Tottenham, whilst Cardiff needed penalties to beat Stoke.

Ipswich will head to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in an all Premier League tie after Forest scraped past Exeter on penalties.

One Championship team will definitely reach the Quarter-Finals after Preston were drawn at home to Lancashire rivals, Burnley at Deepdale.

Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth host Wolves in an all Premier League tie.

Ties will be played between 28 February – 3 March with the eight winners advancing to the Quarter-Finals, which will then take place on weekend of 29-30 March.
