Ipswich face a tough return to the Premier League as 2024-25 season schedule is released.
Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich marks their return to the top-flight after a 22-year absence with a home clash against Arne Slot’s Liverpool at Portman Road, on Saturday 17 August at 12:30pm BST live on TNT Sports.
Sky will however have the opening game of the season on Friday 16 August as Manchester United entertain Fulham at Old Trafford in a 8pm kick-off on Friday Night Football.
Julen Lopetegui’s bow as West Ham manager will take place at home on Saturday 17 August at 5:30pm against Aston Villa, live on Sky from the London Stadium.
The opening Super Sunday of the new season commences with a London derby as Brentford meet Crystal Palace at Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday 18 August at 2pm.
Reigning champions, Manchester City then kick off their title defence away at Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea, with the Blues starting their second consecutive season under a new manager following Mauricio Pochettino’s exit.
The opening weekend concludes with Tottenham’s trip to promoted Leicester on Monday Night Football on 19 August at 8pm, live on Sky.
Play-Off winners, Southampton meanwhile begin the season away at Newcastle in an untelevised clash on 17 August at 3pm.
Fabian Hürzeler’s bow as Brighton boss and the youngest manager to take charge of a Premier League club will come away at Everton on 17 August at 3pm, albeit untelevised in the UK.
Hürzeler will then make his home debut against Man Utd a week later at the AMEX Stadium.

2025 will commence with a bang on the weekend of 3-6 January with Liverpool facing Man Utd at Anfield in a blockbuster clash.
The Midlands will see two local derbies to kick off the new year as Villa meet Leicester, whilst Forest head to Wolves.
Arsenal begin 2025 with a tricky trip to Brighton whilst Tottenham entertain Newcastle.

The final round of fixtures in 2024-25 season will be played on Sunday 25 May at 4pm, with Villa’s trip to Man Utd looking an early stand-out with both teams expected to fight for a top-four finish this season.
Man City and Arsenal both finish the season away to Fulham and Southampton respectively, whilst Liverpool entertain Crystal Palace at Anfield.
