2024-25 Premier League: Week 17 – Leicester vs Wolves

Leicester host relegation rivals, Wolves in a festive Premier League showdown.

Victory could see Leicester move up to 15th position if Everton lose elsewhere, whilst Wolves can climb to 18th with a win  under new manager – Viktor Pereira.

Prediction

After their humiliating 4-0 loss at Newcastle, Leicester really must reset and this is a good home game to do that if they can bring a clinical touch and do basic defending,

Wolves have their own defensive issues to sort out following four consecutive defeats and Gary O’Neil’s exit, but the loss against Ipswich and post-match antics showed a lack of unity and cohesion within the playing squad.

This game therefore feels like a huge ask for Wolves unless they somehow master the ultimate turnaround in unity.

Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Wolves

Result: Leicester 0-3 Wolves
