West Brom host Sheffield United in a huge Championship encounter at The Hawthorns.
Victory will see West Brom climb to sixth, whilst a win or draw would put Sheffield Utd back on top.
Team News
West Brom have no fresh injury concerns following their 1-1 draw at Preston.
Semi Ajayi, Paddy McNair (both hamstring) and Daryl Dike (Achilles) remain absent.
Sheffield Utd will welcome Rhian Brewster back from a thigh injury which had sidelined him for their last five matches.
Kieffer Moore (calf) is a doubt but Anel Ahmedhodzic (suspension) and Oliver Arblaster (ACL) are ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
West Brom host Sheffield Utd at The Hawthorns on Sunday 8 December at 3pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Brom have won one of their last five league meetings against Sheffield Utd (W1, L4).
- Sheffield Utd have won two of their last five league trips to West Brom (W2, L3).
- West Brom have lost each of their last three league meetings against the Blades by a 2-0 result.
- West Brom have been held to 0-0 draws in three of their last four home games.
- Harrison Burrows and Tyrese Campbell have both scored in two of Sheffield Utd’s last three away games.
Prediction
With one win in their last 12 games and having drawn nine of their last 10, West Brom are undoubtedly specialists now at grinding out results and I can’t help but feel that they will need to do the same against tough in-form opposition.
Sheffield Utd meanwhile dug deep to see off Sunderland in a fiery clash where the Blades were just more clinical, which should give them confidence as they face a similar test here.
I am not expecting a classic here but Sheffield Utd will need another gritty performance if want to nick it, otherwise this will be a fair result.
Prediction: WBA 1-1 Sheffield Utd
Result: WBA 2-2 Sheffield Utd
