West Ham host London rivals, Arsenal in a huge Premier League encounter at the London Stadium.
Victory could see West Ham climb to 11th if Brentford and Bournemouth both lose elsewhere, whilst Arsenal can go second with a win or draw.
Team News
Jean-Clair Todibo is a doubt for West Ham with an unspecified injury, which he suffered during their 2-0 win at Newcastle.
Edson Alvarez is back from suspension but Mohammed Kudus (suspension) and Niclas Fullkrug (calf) remain absent.
Arsenal could be without Gabriel after the Brazilian suffered a knock in their midweek Champions League win at Sporting Lisbon.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White both remain out with knee injuries.
When is Kick-Off?
West Ham host Arsenal at London Stadium on Saturday 30 November at 5:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Ham have won one of their last 10 Premier League meetings against Arsenal (W1, D2, L7).
- Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five league trips to West Ham (W3, D2).
- Arsenal have failed to keep two consecutive clean sheets away to West Ham since September 2007 – October 2008, albeit at the Hammers’ ex home – Upton Park.
- West Ham lost their only London derby played at home this season – which came in a 3-0 loss to Chelsea in September.
- Arsenal are winless in their last four away trips in the league (D2, L2).
Prediction
Having clinically dispatched Newcastle on Monday night with a calm but resilient display despite largely defending for much of the game, West Ham will need a similar performance as they’re unlikely to dominate.
Arsenal though look to have found their attacking gears with a stunningly dominant win at Sporting, of which I can’t see grinding to a halt here if can play with the same clinical quality.
My only concern is that the Gunners could become slightly complacent if not careful and have stuttered on the road lately, but they really should have too much for West Ham if play the long game.
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Arsenal
Result: West Ham 2-5 Arsenal
