Norwich City meet Middlesbrough at Carrow Road in a huge clash in the race for promotion.
Victory would lift Norwich up to fifth in the table, whilst Boro can climb to sixth with a win – unless win by four or more goals which would put them up to fifth.
Team News
Norwich have no fresh injury concerns following their 2-2 midweek draw at Preston.
Angus Gunn (muscle), Christian Fassnacht (Achilles) and Marcelino Nunez (hamstring) remain absent.

Stat Attack
- Norwich are winless in their last five meetings against Middlesbrough (D1, L4).
- Middlesbrough have claimed 10 points in their last six visits to Norwich (W3, D1, L2).
- Boro have won each of their last two trips to Norwich by a 2-1 result.
- Three of Borja Sainz’s seven Championship goals for Norwich this season have been scored at home.
- Boro are yet to score in the first half of an away game in all competitions this season.
Prediction
Unbeaten in their last six matches, Norwich know how to grind out results when needed but one clean sheet in that run shows that their defence is vulnerable which is something that Middlesbrough should target.
Boro however just can’t seem to find consistency from game to game this season but having produced a clinical yet resilient performance in midweek, they now must build upon that with a similar effort if want the win.
Norwich’s home fortress though makes this a tough ask but if both teams bring their best quality, I can see a point apiece being the outcome.
Prediction: Norwich 1-1 Middlesbrough
Result: Norwich 3-3 Middlesbrough
