DAMS have signed Matias Zagazeta for 2025 F3 season.
Next year will marks Zagazeta’s second season in F3 after he finished 25th in the drivers’ standings in his rookie campaign, courtesy of a third-placed finish at the British Sprint in his only top-ten finish.
Excited to stay in F3 and join DAMS who have replaced his former team – Jenzer following the latter’s exit, Zagazeta can’t wait for next season.
“I’m very happy to join a team with such a rich history in motorsport, which has been a leading outfit in Formula 2 for several years.
“It’s a new environment for everyone in the championship with the updated car, but I hope that my knowledge will help us to achieve great results together.”
DAMS team owner, Charles Pic is “thrilled” to sign Zagazeta who adds experience to the team for their first F3 campaign.
“It was always important for us to have a driver with experience in the series.
“We’re hopeful that Matias can provide us with a great insight along with our team’s proven methods that have served us well in recent years, helping us to start our F3 journey as best we can.”
