Mexico’s Noel Leon has completed PREMA’s driver line-up for 2025 F3 season.

Leon finished 10th in his rookie campaign this year with four podium finishes – consisting of pairs of second-placed and third-placed finishes.

The 19 year-old Mexican will now stay in F3 for another season but switch from Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) to reigning champions, PREMA for 2025.

Leon is “super happy” to join the Italian team where he has vowed to fight for the title, and will partner McLaren juniors and F3 rookies, Ugo Ugochukwu and Brando Badoer.

“I’m very thankful for their trust, and I can’t wait to start working with the team and prepare for the season. I will give my absolute best to fight for both championships.”

PREMA Team Principal, Rene Rosin added that Leon had quietly impressed for VAR in his rookie season, and will add experience to their line-up as F3 introduces a new car for next year.

“Noel put up some impressive showings this year, and we are happy to welcome him for the season. He has valuable experience in the series and great room for further improvement.

“Having already worked together in the Jerez test, we think he will be a good fit within our team, and we look forward to continuing the work.”
