Walsall entertain Bradford City at Bescot Stadium in a stand-out League Two contest.
Victory could see Walsall go top if Notts County, Barrow and Gillingham lose elsewhere, whilst Bradford too can go top with a win if the latter trio taste defeat.

Stat Attack
- Walsall have won one of their last nine league meetings against Bradford (W1, D3, L5).
- Bradford are unbeaten in their last five visits to Walsall (W4, D1).
- Both teams have scored in three of their last four meetings at Bescot Stadium.
- Walsall are unbeaten at home in all competitions this season, with their three home wins all by a one-goal margin (W3, D1).
- None of Andy Cook’s three league goals for Bradford this season came away from home.
Prediction
Having suffered a narrow defeat at MK Dons last weekend, Walsall need to step up their performance because they were pretty much outplayed and that can’t happen here against a pretty intense-pressing Bradford.
Bradford likewise need to improve because they beat Carlisle, it could of easily been a different result if the Bantams had been less clinical so I expect more composure up front.
With improvement needed for both teams in terms of performance, I do expect a tough but close game and a draw wouldn’t be too much of a surprise given that both teams are in the promotion mix,
Prediction: Walsall 1-1 Bradford
Result: Walsall 2-1 Bradford
