2024-25 League Two: Week Three – Bradford vs Bromley

Bradford City entertain Bromley at Valley Parade in a stand-out League Two match.

Victory would see Bradford leapfrog Bromley and potentially go top depending upon results elsewhere.

Andy Woodman’s Ravens meanwhile can extend their unbeaten start to the league campaign, and go top if Walsall and Gillingham fail to match their result.

Team News

Bradford have no fresh injury concerns to report after their goalless draw against Salford City.

Vadaine Oliver remains absent with concussion which forced him to miss their draw against Salford.

Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 2-0 home win over AFC Wimbledon.

When is Kick-Off?

Bradford host Bromley at Valley Parade on Saturday 24 August at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • This is Bradford’s first ever meeting against Bromley in all competitions.
  • Bromley are playing away to Bradford for the first time in their history.
  • Bradford are unbeaten in their last four matches at home (W3, D1).
  • Bromley are yet to concede in the league this season, having claimed a pair of 2-0 wins over Harrogate and AFC Wimbledon.

Prediction

Having made a solid start this season with four points from two games and unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions, Bradford do have momentum especially at home plus the advantage of experience in this league.

Bromley however haven’t let their inexperience faze them so far with two wins from two league matches without conceding, as their energetic but patient press punished AFC Wimbledon clinically.

Valley Parade though is a tough place to go with just five defeats in 2024 so Bromley will need to be at their very best, but I do feel like they have the quality to snatch at least a draw.

Prediction: Bradford 1-1 Bromley

Result: Bradford 3-1 Bromley
