Bromley have drawn AFC Wimbledon on their debut in First Round of 2024-25 Carabao Cup.

Andy Woodman’s Ravens are making their debut in the EFL this season in League 2 and therefore participating in this cup competition for the first time, which comes at home against London opposition in AFC Wimbledon.

The tie also will mark Bromley’s first home match at Hayes Lane as an EFL club, just days before their first home game in League 2 takes place coincidentally against the Dons.

Cambridge United meanwhile will host Championship’s QPR in the other stand-out tie within the Southern Section.

Across in the Northern Section, last season’s semi-finalists, Middlesbrough have been drawn away to Leeds United at Elland Road in a huge First Round tie between two clubs expected to fight for promotion to the Premier League this season.

League 2’s Carlisle United will look to cause a giant killing as they entertain Stoke City at Brunton Park.

Fleetwood Town suffered relegation from League One at the end of last season but will look to spring a surprise at home to Championship’s West Bromwich Albion.

Last season’s League 2 champions, Stockport County will take on Blackburn Rovers at Edgeley Park in an intriguing North-West match-up.

First Round ties will be played between 13-15 August with all 35 ties will be broadcast live across Sky Sports platforms.

Luton and Burnley both received byes to the Second Round and will enter the competition at that stage, alongside the 13 Premier League clubs not qualified for UEFA competitions this season.
