Fulham host title-chasing Manchester City at Craven Cottage as the penultimate weekend of 2023-24 Premier League season commences.
Victory would see Fulham climb to 11th in the table ahead of the mid-afternoon kick-offs, whilst Man City can go top until Sunday afternoon at minimum with a win.
Team News
Harrison Reed is a doubt for Fulham after he missed their goalless draw at West London rivals, Brentford due to an unspecified injury.
Man City have no fresh injury concerns to report after their win over Wolves last weekend.
When is Kick-Off?
Fulham host Man City at Craven Cottage on Saturday 11 May at 12:30pm BST, live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Fulham are winless in their last 17 league meetings against Man City (D3, L14).
- Man City are unbeaten in their last 11 visits to Fulham (W8, D3).
- This is the first Premier League meeting between Fulham and Man City to be played in May.
- Fulham have scored in six of their last seven matches at home (W3, D1, L3).
- Man City have lost one of five league visits to London-based teams this season (W3, D1, L1).
Prediction
With nothing to play for other than pride and finishing as high up the table as they can, this game is a free hit for Fulham but they will need to be more clinical than they were at Brentford yet defend just as well if they want to get anything out of this game.
Man City meanwhile blew Wolves apart with a dominant home win where they were absolutely clinical in their attacking play with a difficult pressing intensity, but they now have the pressure of playing first rather than responding to Arsenal’s result which could bring a new mental test.
I however can’t see that challenge worrying them too much if they play like they did last weekend and their form in this fixture is another positive in their favour, so an one-sided result is surely on the cards.
Prediction: Fulham 0-3 Manchester City
Result: Fulham 0-4 Manchester City
